What Is Himizu About?
The premise of Himizu without spoilers.
In a post-disaster Japan, the lives of two troubled teenagers, Keiko and Yuichi, become unexpectedly linked. Keiko, a fourteen-year-old with obsessive tendencies, becomes fixated on Yuichi, who is consumed by a desire for violent revenge against those responsible for the devastation around him. As Keiko tries to connect with Yuichi and help him find a path away from vengeance, their journey examines themes of morality, trauma, and the resilience of the human spirit amidst chaos and loss.
