Lee Yiu-ting, [Aaron Kwok], and Wong Kai-chung, [Eason Chan Yik-Shun], are police officers in the Regional Crime Unit on Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, renowned for their sharp aim and agility, yet they have never crossed paths until a high-stakes case pulls them into the same investigation.

Regional Crime Unit Superintendent Cheung Tit-chu, [Danny Lee], learns that international thief Ken Ma, [Wong Ban-Yuen], has secretly entered Hong Kong to pull off a daring heist. Cheung forms a special operation group by recruiting elite officers, and Ting and Chung are pulled into this mission to take down the criminals.

Ken Ma and his girlfriend To Yu-Fung, [Victoria Wu], a jewelry appraiser, plan to steal a priceless diamond necklace and then retire to distant shores. Ting, Chung, and their new female superior Fung Po-Po, [Yumiko Cheng], work together to locate the necklace. Yet the trio’s collaboration is hindered by mutual distrust and fierce competition for the best performance, turning teamwork into tension.

On a pivotal turn, To Yu-Fung makes a deal: she will surrender the necklace if the police can locate and rescue Ken. At the same time, she is being hunted by other gangsters, adding another layer of danger. To protect her, Ting and Chung are assigned to safeguard To Yu-Fung, transforming their earlier hostilities into a delicate and sensitive dynamic among the three.

The investigation unfolds through tense stakeouts, close calls, and questions of loyalty and duty, all under the pressure of time. The story culminates as Ting sustains a gunshot injury and visits Chung in the hospital before leaving the ward to begin his recovery.
