What Is Happy Day About?
The premise of Happy Day without spoilers.
On a desolate island, a concentration camp holds exiled political prisoners who endure daily interrogations, psychological and physical abuse, arbitrary punishments, and constant torment. One unbroken inmate is tortured, attempts escape, falls into the sea, and is later discovered by guards who kill him when the Queen visits, assuming he is already dead.
