Happy Birthday, Mr. Mograbi (1999): Cast

The film functions as a “documentary within a documentary.” Mr. Mogravi is hired by a producer to create a piece celebrating Israel’s 50th anniversary. When filming starts, news of high unemployment emerges. The producer, wanting to address the crisis, considers building a factory but, lacking expertise, simply issues a second check for Mogravi to produce a film exposing social injustices and urging reform.
