English What Is Green Cross Code: Splink Launch About?
The premise of Green Cross Code: Splink Launch without spoilers.
Jon Pertwee returns to Earth to deliver a road‑safety message, reminding everyone of the Green Cross Code. The campaign’s ‘SPLINK’ slogan, introduced a year after Dave Prowse first portrayed the Green Cross Man, aimed to teach children safe crossing habits. Launched in 1971, the SPLINK drill proved too complex for many youngsters, but the slogan remains a memorable part of road‑safety education.
