Hardik (Kunal Khemu) and Luv (Vir Das) are two carefree friends, living with their sensible roommate Bunny (Anand Tiwari). Bunny takes charge of the household, ensuring that their bills are paid on time, while the duo indulges in various antics. Their lives take a turn when Luv decides to propose to Priyanka (Meenal Thakur), vowing to change his lifestyle by cleaning up their messy apartment, ridding it of both alcohol and drugs.
However, things spiral out of control when Hardik is dismissed from his job for smoking at work, and Luv is heartbroken when Priyanka reveals she has been unfaithful, planning a getaway to Goa with another man. Seeking an escape from their troubles, they convince Bunny to drive them to Goa, where Bunny is scheduled to present to a client—all expenses covered.
In Goa, Luv’s interest shifts to Luna ([Puja Gupta]), a friend he recognized from Facebook. She invites them to an exclusive rave party organized by the Russian mafia on a secluded island. With no money to spare, they leverage Bunny’s car to hire a boat for the journey.
At the rave, they learn about a dangerous new drug, D2RF, but abstain due to its high cost. Luv tries to connect with Luna, who advises him to take time to heal from his breakup. The following morning, their retreat takes a dire turn as they discover that the island is overrun by zombies—victims of the drug from the night before. In a panic, they run towards their boat but see signals from a hilltop villa, believing Luna might be there. Upon reaching the villa, they find Luna hiding in fear after her friend has turned into a zombie.
The group unites, attempting to navigate back to their boat, but is besieged by zombies. Just then, Boris (Saif Ali Khan), an imposing zombie slayer, arrives on the scene, and he quickly becomes their guide. With Boris and his companion Nikolai supplying them with firearms, the inexperienced trio clumsily use their ammunition, leading to more chaos than control.
Along their harrowing journey to safety, they face numerous close calls, including Hardik’s fall from a tree that alerts nearby zombies. Boris explains the drug’s dire effects—it shuts down nearly all human systems except for the hunger drive, resulting in the bloodthirsty zombie outbreak. The group continues their frantic bid back to safety, but they soon discover that the boat they arrived on has been commandeered by a zombie named Ariana, whom Hardik had a one-night stand with.
As night falls, the group seeks refuge in an abandoned villa, where tension builds around Hardik’s potential infection. Luv and Bunny convince Boris that Hardik is merely foolish and not a threat. However, the night takes a turn when they are attacked by zombies, and Bunny tragically meets his end.
Faced with continuous struggles, Luna realizes Boris is focused on retrieving his cocaine, leading to further risks. As they await the boat’s return, a surprising twist reveals that Bunny is alive atop a tower. The remaining friends make a daring effort to rescue him, but not without loss.
Finally, they devise a plan with the remaining cocaine to distract the zombies long enough to make their escape. Just as they believe they’re free, they face a moral dilemma regarding their final actions against zombified foes. Upon returning to shore, they are met with devastation—Goa is ablaze, overrun with chaos, as they realize their fight isn’t over. Armed and ready, they face an uncertain future, concluding with the ominous message: “The End…is near,” signaling the onset of a zombie apocalypse.
