What Is Glimpses of Kentucky About?

The premise of Glimpses of Kentucky without spoilers.

The Traveltalk short on Kentucky opens with sweeping views of the 700‑mile Cumberland River, then heads to Old Fort Harrod State Park to see a replica of the state’s first permanent white settlement. It visits the graves of two celebrated Kentuckians—Henry Clay in Lexington and Daniel Boone in Frankfort—before touring the My Old Kentucky Home mansion that inspired Stephen Foster’s iconic song. The segment ends with a look at three Lexington horse farms: Spindletop, Faraway Farm (home of legendary racehorse Man o’ War), and Elmendorf Farm, where Man o’ War’s parents, Fair Play and Mahuba, lie buried.
