Girls und Panzer: This Is the Real Anzio Battle! 2014

Following their victory against Maginot Girls’ Academy at the 63rd National High School Sensha-dō Tournament, Anzio High School’s commander Anchovy is ready to unveil a secret weapon for the looming clash with Ōarai Girls’ Academy. After Yukari Akiyama infiltrates Anzio, Ōarai learns the weapon is a P 40 heavy tank. To learn more about it, Miho Nishizumi Mai Fuchigami visits the Hippo Team and discovers that Caesar Eri Sendai has a childhood friend at Anzio.

On the day of the quarter-final, Ōarai’s Duck Team goes into reconnaissance and spots Anzio’s Semovente and Carro Veloces already positioned at the crossroad. The Rabbit Team reports similar findings, but a closer look reveals a troubling discrepancy: the tanks they encountered appear to be made of cardboard, suggesting Anzio is trying to encircle them with mobility rather than rely on real force.

With Anzio’s plan exposed, Duck Team pursues the Carro Veloces led by Pepperoni You Taichi, while Rabbit Team flees from Semoventes. Anglerfish, Turtle, and Hippo teams close in, engaging Anchovy’s P 40 and Anzio’s flag tank in a brisk, tactical clash. Hippo Team faces a Semovente steered by Carpaccio Saori Hayami, who stands out as Caesar’s friend in the opposing side, adding a personal edge to the skirmish. The Duck Team manages to disable several Carro Veloces, forcing Anchovy to pull the remaining tanks back into a tighter formation.

In the end, Ōarai corners Anzio as Anglerfish Team’s Panzer IV cripples the P 40, clinching the win for Ōarai. After the battle, Anzio graciously treats Ōarai to their Italian foods, turning a fierce contest into a moment of shared culture and camaraderie between rival schools.

In a post-credits scene, Anzio arrives early to watch the tournament’s final between Ōarai and Kuromorimine Girls’ Academy, but the celebration overpowers them and they end up dozing off during the match after a huge party.
