Check out what happened in Ghost Team!

Louis, a copy shop owner consumed by the paranormal, yearns for a break from his mundane existence. When a customer seeking custom signs mentions a mysterious barn with potential spectral activity, Louis assembles an unlikely team of misfits - Stan, his melancholic best friend; Zak, his awkward nephew; Victoria, a self-proclaimed medium with a cable access show; Ellie, a beautician from their strip mall neighborhood; and Ross, an enthusiastic security guard. Their mission is twofold: to investigate the alleged haunting and submit their findings for consideration on the popular TV show "Ghost Getters". With Zak's makeshift equipment in tow, they embark on a Saturday afternoon expedition to the foreboding barn.

Louis has taken creative liberties by designing T-shirts emblazoned with the team's unofficial moniker, "Ghost Team", which Zak refuses to don. As they set up their observation post and conduct a seance, they decide to split up and explore the surroundings. Following a series of recordings, they analyze their audio and are thrilled to discover what appears to be an EVP - evidence that would make even the most skeptical ghost hunter take notice. However, their excitement is short-lived as they realize Victoria has vanished into thin air. Zak, Stan, and Ross soon follow suit, leaving Louis and Ellie to stumble upon the true nature of their predicament: the barn is a front for a meth lab operated by Mitch, the same customer who commissioned the "No Trespassing" signs.

As the team scrambles to escape the inferno engulfing the lab, they become aware that Victoria has been taken hostage by Mitch. In desperation, he forces them to abandon their plans and allow him to flee on his boat, threatening to kill them if they fail to comply. But Victoria's unorthodox skills prove invaluable as she convinces Mitch that she is channeling his deceased father, giving Louis the window of opportunity to strike back with Ross' paintball gun, temporarily incapacitating their tormentor. The lab then succumbs to the flames, and the team makes a hasty retreat.

In the aftermath, they contact the authorities, who take their statements and apprehend Mitch for his crimes. Having forged an unbreakable bond in the face of adversity, the group returns home, harmonizing to the soothing sounds of "Dream Weaver" as they reflect on their harrowing experience.
