Ali, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, an orphaned, impoverished Muslim man, finds himself suddenly unemployed after a heated insult toward the owner’s son at a clothing store. He worries over how he’ll provide for his Hindu mother Sulbha Seema Biswas, whose faith and resilience keep him grounded even as hard luck piles up. His friend and confidant Maqsood Arbaaz Khan refuses to let him sink, nudging him toward a risky plan to secure money and a chance at a better life. The two hatch a plan that begins with a bold approach to a rich, royal woman named Padmavati, and the ensuing clash unlocks a path that neither of them anticipated.

Maqsood’s world collides with the underworld when it’s revealed he works for the feared gangster, Danger Bhai Nikitin Dheer. The weight of this association shifts the odds against Ali, who is navigating a broken betrothal after the store owner’s relatives factor into the bride’s family. In a bid to drum up funds, Ali crosses paths with a powerful businessman at a golf course, where he taunts Singhania Micky Makhija into a challenge and, against the odds, wins the ace. He returns home with the money, but the real wind sits in the wings—his uncle Kishan Lal, a caddy driver for Singhania Asif Basra, suggests that a talent for golf could make Ali rich and famous. Motivated, Ali begins training under Kishan Lal’s patient guidance, discovering a talent he didn’t fully believe he possessed.

Ali enters a formal golf tournament, where he earns a place among the top 60 and catches the eye of Megha Amy Jackson, the manager of the royal Vikram Rathore Jas Arora. Megha’s praise and Vikram’s sharp rebuke ignite a new sense of possibility in him, and Ali gradually learns that golf can indeed be a game for the poor as well as the privileged. The romance between Megha and Ali blossoms subtly as the sport’s grind reveals the depth of his grit. Sulbha’s quiet faith in him hardens into resolve as she becomes his emotional north star, and his ambition begins to tilt toward something larger than money alone.

Danger Bhai, leaned on his elder Bade Bhai Jackie Shroff, secretly schemes to derail Ali’s ascent. He manipulates Maqsood into sabotaging Ali’s progress, and Maqsood—driven by fear and loyalty—substitutes himself for Kishan Lal, feeding Ali false instructions that mislead him. Megha uncovers the ruse, and a furious Ali confronts Maqsood, delivering a scalding slap. Sulbha’s stern rebuke follows, underscoring the family’s insistence on honesty and integrity. Realizing his misstep, Maqsood feels the weight of his actions and resolves to help Ali, even as the consequences of the deception ripple outward.

As the tournament’s final rounds loom, Vikram injures Ali’s hand supposedly in a celebratory gesture for reaching the finals, prompting worries and prayers from the entire circle. Bade Bhai steps further into the plot, and Danger Bhai aligns with him for the final push. Maqsood assumes a new role as the caddy, while Ali’s mother steels him with quiet defiance against the forces trying to pull him down. The hand injury begins to mend, and the crowd senses that this is more than a competition—it’s a test of character, courage, and loyalty.

Washed with a mix of pain and determination, Ali returns to the final match with a recovering hand and a renewed sense of purpose. He sheds the plaster-bandage, stands tall, and finds his rhythm in the moment of truth. The moment comes when Ali declares his aim with a calm confidence that resonates beyond the green, and the crowd holds its breath as he executes a remarkable shot that soars above the trees and into the hole—an eruption of skill and heart that seals his victory. Vikram Rathore concedes, Bade Bhai praises Ali, and a grateful alliance of friends—Megha among them—celebrates a victory that feels earned, not granted.

In the end, Ali’s triumph is less about money and more about resilience, honesty, and the belief that dreams can belong to the underdog. He honors his mother, his mentors, and his supporters as he steps into a future shaped by hard work, loyalty, and a simple but powerful creed: sometimes the greatest champion is the one who refuses to quit.
