Apostolos Lampirikos, a debt‑ridden industrialist, is persuaded by his employee Kostas to fake his suicide. Kostas ties a stone to the boss, stages a drowning, and sends a photo, while imprisoning him in a locked yard shed that only opens with a bell‑code. The faked death silences creditors, revives the business, and sparks further schemes involving Lampirikos’s wife Flora, daughter Alice, and a suitor for the widow.
