What Is Floating Clouds About?
The premise of Floating Clouds without spoilers.
During World War II a married Japanese forester is transferred to French Indochina to oversee timber operations. While there he becomes involved with a young Japanese typist, promising to abandon his marriage. He reneges, and after the war the typist reappears, rekindling their illicit relationship amidst the lingering scars of the conflict.
