Festival of Mask (1982): Cast

Don Amis, one of the few Black student filmmakers at UCLA alongside Carroll Parrott Blue and Denise Bean, uses a documentary style to capture the Craft and Folk Art Museum’s Festival of Mask. The film records preparations, parade and performances, showing Los Angeles’ African, Asian and Latin‑American communities expressing themselves through a traditional mask art form.
