Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore 2022

Albus Dumbledore, portrayed by Jude Law, is an exceptionally formidable and respected wizard within the British Wizarding Community. Renowned for his academic prowess and role as the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor at Hogwarts, he shares a complex history with Gellert Grindelwald, depicted by Mads Mikkelsen. Dumbledore and Grindelwald were once deeply connected, having forged a blood pact that prevents them from dueling—a grim consequence of their youthful love and ambitions.

One pivotal moment occurs in a quaint Muggle tea shop, where they confront their emotions, with Grindelwald expressing his chilling intent to annihilate the Muggle world. The narrative shifts to Kweilin, China, in 1932, where Newt Scamander, played by Eddie Redmayne, a distinguished figure in the British Ministry of Magic’s Beasts Division, tends to a Qilin—a magical creature with the extraordinary ability to perceive one’s essence and future. After a fierce duel between Dumbledore and Grindelwald, the blood pact breaks, signifying a pivotal turn in their intertwined fates.

In the aftermath, as peace begins to settle, Aberforth acknowledges Credence as his lost son, promising him a place to belong. Meanwhile, Jacob and Queenie celebrate their love with a joyous wedding, with their friends surrounding them.
