Evocateur: The Morton Downey Jr. Movie (2012): Cast & Box Office

Before figures like O’Reilly and Beck, Morton Downey Jr. revolutionized television with his controversial and populist talk show. Known for its frequent on-air confrontations, enthusiastic audience, and Downey’s trademark cigarette smoke, the show was famously dubbed “3-D television” and “rock and roll without the music.” Évocateur explores the climate of hysteria that defined the late 1980s and examines the career of this polarizing and unforgettable television personality.
