In 1943, Noor Inayat Khan, a British woman with an American mother and Indian Muslim father, was recruited into Winston Churchill’s Special Operations Executive. As a covert operative, she became the only surviving radio operator maintaining vital communication between the British and the French Resistance in Paris. Despite the collapse of her network, she courageously continued to coordinate the airdrop of weapons and agents, and facilitated the rescue of Allied airmen, all while facing immense danger and eventual capture.
