Thomas McKenzie, Scott Adkins, a former U.S. federal agent living undercover in London as Martin Parker, shares a fragile life with his eight-year-old daughter Carly, Lily Ann Stubbs. His undercover work inside the crime empire of Charles Cooper, James Cosmo, led him to love and marry Cooper’s daughter. Since a car bomb claimed his wife, Cooper seeks revenge and aims to reclaim Carly so he can groom her as the next leader of his arms business.
During a tense dispute over an arms sale, three mafia members demand their money back and accuse Cooper of peddling a rip-off, only to discover that the guns he sold them are real—and deadly. Cooper immediately orders his assistant to retrieve his granddaughter, setting the stage for a brutal clash between loyalty, money, and vengeance.
One night, three armed burglars break into the London home looking for cocaine, targeting the wrong address. In a brutal confrontation that tests every limit of Thomas’s training, he wrests a gun from the attackers and kills them, narrowly saving Carly’s life as he collapses from a head wound and calls Gail Callister at the U.S. Embassy before losing consciousness.
Thomas wakes in a hospital bed, handcuffed and facing murder charges with his face splashed across the news. Carly has been placed in the care of Stacey at Kavendish Place, while Cooper, having finally tracked him down, dispatches the deadly British hitman George “Bishop” Edwards, Stuart Bennett, to kill Thomas and bring Carly back.
Thomas’s old friend Ray Monroe, Daniel Caltagirone, promises to fly in to help sort out his protection status, since Callister and the embassy have proven unable to safeguard them. With Carly’s safety at stake, Thomas fights his way out of the hospital in a brutal chase that puts him one step ahead of Bishop, discovering that the hitman is trying to breach Kavendish Place’s security system.
A desperate pursuit carries Thomas into a cable car over the Thames, where Bishop attempts to hire two thugs to knock him out. Thomas defeats them, borrows a phone, and calls Ray, who meets him at a safe house. Bishop arrives and blasts a wall to reach them, killing Ray as they flee. In a final confrontation, Thomas uses Bishop’s own car to pursue Carly, and their battleground shifts from street to dockside to a shadowy confrontation on the water.
Back on track, Callister’s efforts finally bring embassy protection teams to Carly’s location, but Cooper, his assistant Hannah, and three bodyguards descend upon them. In a ruthless onslaught, they shoot Stacey and wipe out the protection team. Cooper discovers Carly and proclaims his love and claim as her grandfather, while Thomas confronts Bishop once more. In a brutal exchange, Thomas hurls Bishop onto a pickaxe, ending the fight for good.
Thomas storms the house, where Hannah is killed and Cooper slain, leaving him with Carly safely in his arms at last. The nightmare ends with a stunned but relieved father cradling his daughter, the threat neutralized, and a fragile peace restored—at least for now.
