Swami Amoorthananda, a psychotic holy godman with strong international connections, runs a powerful narcotics mafia in Kerala. He also wields considerable influence in political circles and is a persuasive speaker, attracting devotees from abroad and turning many of them into addicts. In his presence, the line between faith and crime blurs, and his charisma masks a volatile, dangerous ambition that extends far beyond religious influence. This chilling combination of spiritual aura and criminal networks anchors the tension that drives the story forward.

A string of murders at Kovalam beach provokes sharp criticism of the Kerala government, and the Chief Minister, Sreedharan, decides to bring in a capable officer to investigate. Enter Madhavan, a Narcotics Wing officer who travels from New Delhi to Kerala, bringing with him a reputation for relentless pursuit. He is not alone in this mission; he is supported by a smart and determined CI, Sharath Chandran. Together, they pursue the thread of the crimes, and their investigation quickly points toward Amoorthananda’s ashram, a place that becomes a focal point of fear and disruption as the case unfolds. The tension intensifies as Madhavan’s aggressive methods clash with the shadows surrounding the guru’s operations.

As Amoorthananda learns of Madhavan’s probing, he moves to neutralize the threat and also schemes to topple the existing administration by promoting his trusted aide, Velayudhan, to the Chief Minister’s post. The plan hinges on destabilizing the state political structure while keeping his narcotics empire intact. In a dramatic turn, a new player, Mahesh Nair, described as an international narcotics criminal, arrives in Kerala on Amoorthananda’s orders and makes a direct move by killing Sharath Chandran, escalating the crisis and showing just how far the godman’s reach extends. The city reels under fear as the conspiracy deepens and the consequences of this criminal alliance become personal for Madhavan.

Madhavan’s resolve does not waver. He leads a fearless raid on the ashram, interrupting Amoorthananda’s plot to unleash a series of bomb blasts across the state. The confrontation sets the stage for a climactic confrontation in which the guru’s power is finally challenged. In the aftermath, Amoorthananda falls from a building and dies, while Madhavan executes a decisive countermeasure against Mahesh Nair by placing a bomb in his mouth, effectively neutralizing the threat and sparing the state from the planned carnage and potential communal unrest. With the masterminds dealt with and the immediate danger averted, the investigation closes with the state spared from catastrophe, and Madhavan’s relentless pursuit proven instrumental in restoring order.
