Efpsychi (1983): Cast

The young actor’s face—eyes, eyebrows, earlobe, chin—stands before the market quarter of Athens, where each street is named for a classic Greek playwright. In this stillness, broken by street sounds, he repeats the single word “teleftea,” meaning “the last.” Each utterance shifts across his features, gaining sense and evoking the uncanny mix of eroticism, the sacred and chance.
