Two friends, Arjun and Ashwin, sit at the heart of the story. Narayana is Arjun’s father, a very wealthy and respected lawyer, while Ashwin is the son of a police inspector, M. Koteswara Rao.

On Kishore’s wedding, they both fall for two charming women, Neelaveni and Supriya, respectively. Neelaveni is the sister of Gaja, while Supriya is the sister of Dattu, two notorious goons who are rivals in the city. Neelaveni makes a firm decision to marry only an orphan, so [Arjun] pretends to be an orphan to win her love. Gaja approves, and the couple’s bond begins to grow. Soon after, Neelaveni rents the upper portion of Arjun’s house, setting the stage for a tangle of secrets and lies that will test every relationship.

To keep the deception going, Arjun enlists Ashwin to pose as Neelaveni’s husband in front of Arjun’s family, while Ashwin pretends to be the son of Narayana to Neelaveni’s family. At the same time, Dattu is eager for a rich alliance for his sister, so Ashwin adopts the same ruse—being presented as Narayana’s son—to win Supriya’s hand, with Arjun backing him as the plan unfolds. The web of false identities thickens, and the two couples move toward marriage with layers of misrepresentation in place.

As the truth edge closer to exposure, Ashwin and Supriya decide to seal their own marriage in court to avoid scrutiny. This sparks confusion: Narayana reveals that he knows about Arjun’s secret marriage, but Arjun misinterprets the revelation, thinking it concerns his union with Neelaveni, while Narayana is actually referring to Ashwin and Supriya’s arrangement. Supriya, aware of the tangled drama, chooses to support them and keep faith with her sister.

Tensions rise when Gaga’s henchman Raghu spots Arjun with Supriya and tries to alert Neelaveni about the romance. Ashwin deftly foils Raghu and sends him to the police station. This turn of events troubles Ashwin still further because Raghu’s trip to the station brings him into contact with Dattu’s men, who are already in custody. The henchmen reveal to Inspector Koteswara that Ashwin is not the son of the inspector but the son of Narayana, a revelation that could unravel everything.

To avoid capture, Ashwin accepts the deception, leaving his father heartbroken. Meanwhile, Neelaveni becomes pregnant with Arjun’s child, prompting Arjun to resolve to tell her the truth. Raghu, meanwhile, has already leaked news of Arjun and Supriya’s marriage to Gaja, while Dattu’s men inform Dattu about Ashwin’s true parentage. Both sides mobilize, intent on finishing off the two couples.

A tense cat-and-mouse clash erupts between Gaja’s henchmen and Dattu’s henchmen, keeping everyone on edge. Amid the chaos, Supriya takes the time to explain everything to Koteswara and Narayana, laying out the full extent of the fabrications. In the end, the rival factions soften, and Gaja and Dattu come to accept their sisters’ marriages, embracing the two couples into their families and beginning a new, uneasy peace.
