The film opens in a breezy, small village where a colorful cast of characters keeps daily life lively, and a light narrator M G Soman guides us through the rhythms of village life. The Panchayat becomes the stage for daily comedies and petty feuds, especially the scramble to address a big problem: there is no veterinary doctor in town. The two feuding factions step forward, led by Nanappan [Jagathy Sreekumar] and Uthpalakshan [Kuthiravattam Pappu], who pressure the Panchayat president to act, delivering an ultimatum to resign if a vet isn’t found soon, setting the tone for the village’s comic clashes.
