Meteorites fall from the sky during a dramatic meteor shower, serving as strange transportation for dragons who travel within them, turning the medieval countryside into a chaotic backdrop. The roaming beasts unleash havoc across the land, forcing two ancient rivals, King Fastrad and King Wednesbury, to set aside their feud and unite against the looming threat. John Rhys-Davies and John Hansson bring the weight of their banners to this unlikely alliance as the danger presses closer to their realms.

A messenger arrives to warn King Fastrad, John Rhys-Davies, of the impending disaster, but at first he refuses to believe the report. The dragons reveal the truth with a fiery demonstration, destroying Fastrad’s fiefdom and jolting him into action. He and his closest aides press onward to the fiefdom of King Wednesbury, John Hansson, ostensibly seeking aid while secretly aiming to topple him. The trip marks a tense crossing of paths and a desperate bid for a new alliance, even as loyalties and ambitions collide.

On the road they encounter Silas, Maxwell Caulfield, a hunter who agrees to accompany and protect the party for a price. His wary detour into service adds an uneasy balance to the caravan as they navigate the countryside’s lurking dangers. When they finally reach Wednesbury, Fastrad accuses Silas of poaching in a bid to dodge a debt, a move that strains the fragile coalition and tests Silas’s resolve.

The journey grows richer as the party is joined by Ling, Woon Young Park, a Mystic Scholar who studies the fallen dragon and provides critical insight, and Remmegar, Richard Wharton, a figure driven by vengeance who lends his burden to the mission. They are also joined by Medina, Angel Boris Reed, King Wednesbury’s warrior daughter, whose presence strengthens the group as they prepare for the hunt ahead. This newly formed alliance makes their plan feel possible: to hunt the remaining dragons using a colossal ballista after Ling’s examination of the slain beast reveals vital clues.

One meteor is damaged on impact, and the dragon passenger perishes in the fall, an event that steels the group’s determination to end the threat. Ling’s meticulous analysis of the dead creature motivates a bold, coordinated pursuit, and the decision is made to track the remaining dragons across the countryside with the help of the giant weapon.

With the clock running and the stakes rising, the party sets off on their expedition while Fastrad continues scheming against Wednesbury. He even blackmails Wednesbury’s aide to eliminate Silas, a treacherous move that deepens the rift within the alliance and raises the tension to a fever pitch. As the party advances toward the dragons, their unity is tested by hidden agendas and the looming possibility that treachery could derail the mission before the last dragon falls. The fate of both realms rests on whether they can combine stubborn pride with newfound cooperation long enough to survive the onslaught.
