Sudheer, Ravi Teja and Rani, Charmy Kaur, are on a long drive to a friend’s wedding, hoping to shave a little time off the route with a shortcut. The road runs dry and lonely, and their car coughs to a halt in front of an old, dilapidated resort that looks more sketchy than welcoming. Inside, they meet a peculiar hotel staff member who claims to be the receptionist, Subbaraju, and a second man posing as the manager, Supreet. The lobby is musty, the lights flicker, and the two men insist the hotel is full, offering only a single room—room 8—despite the place’s obvious neglect. The couple soon discovers that the room hasn’t been cleaned for days, and when they order lunch, they’re told nothing is actually available. Sudheer insists they should leave, return to their car, and find a mechanic, but the staff refuse to let Rani accompany him.

As unease grows, strange sounds emanate from the neighboring room, a door that is stubbornly locked. The receptionist claims the noise comes from a ghost, while the manager hints at a thief. Fear and confusion mount as Sudheer and Rani attempt to escape, but the trio of hotel workers intercept them and tighten their grip, keeping Rani confined in room 9—the very room rumored to house the disturbance. Sudheer and Rani manage a narrow escape, yet they remain trapped within the twisted corridors of the building, only to find that the resort’s grim machinery keeps turning against them.

The truth becomes chillingly clear: the three men are kidnappers working for a don known as Munna Bhai. They have abducted a businessman named Narayana Murthy, Brahmanandam, and locked him away in room 9. In a bid to crack the case, two cops arrive in disguise—Shiva, played by Lakshmi Manchu, and Richard, played by Sunil Varma—inviting the illusion that Munna has already been arrested. What follows is a tense game of hiding and seeking, as Sudheer, Rani, and Narayana try to survive the escalating danger within the resort while authorities play a calculated ruse.

A decisive turn comes when a seasoned cop on duty, Prakash Raj, enters the scene. His appearance shifts the balance, triggering a cat-and-mouse chase through the dim, claustrophobic hallways. The pursuit culminates in a showdown that reveals Munna Bhai’s true identity and motive, setting off a brutal struggle against the kidnap gang. In the climax, the trail of violence ends with the antagonists defeated and Munna Bhai finally taken into custody, bringing an uneasy resolution to a night that began with a simple detour and spiraled into a high-stakes jailhouse drama. The film blends suspense, odd humor, and a sense of claustrophobic danger as the characters navigate trust, fear, and a desperate fight to survive.
