Vijay Amitabh Bachchan and Sunil Shashi Kapoor are petty burglars who operate on rival sides of the city’s underworld. Their respective bosses hatch a bold, morally tangled scheme: infiltrate a school to abduct rich Seth Mathur’s son, Bittoo, and demand a hefty ransom. To pull it off, they disguise themselves and slip into the school as Ram and Lakshman, respectively, taking on new roles that blur the lines between crime and innocence. Ram is appointed as the P.E. instructor, while Lakshman becomes the music teacher, setting the stage for a series of comic and heartfelt moments amid the disciplined hallways and curious students.
