The story unfolds in Hyderabad, where Chandu, an employee at the Dharma Group of Industries, lives with his wife Kathyayini’s family while her relatives work in Delhi. An aspiring actor, Indu befriends Chandu as she faces trouble from a gang that is chasing her brother. When the goons finally abduct Indu, Chandu confronts them and earns the indirect ire of Minister Govardhan Rao and a corrupt cop, Prabhakar, though he manages to stop their threat. In the meantime, Babji, his co-worker, siphons off company funds to pay for his daughter’s wedding, and Chandu ends up incriminating himself in the aftermath. The company’s top boss, Rajasekhar Dharma, takes notice only after Chandu’s father-in-law Lakshmi Narayana pushes for the truth.

And then comes a stunning revelation: Chandu is not who he seems. He is actually Chandrashekar Dharma, known as The Dictator, the formidable chairman of the Dharma group who spins a complex web of power and influence. Chandrashekar is a formidable tycoon who fights against the mafia and maintains a steel grip on his empire. He rekindles a relationship with Kathyayini, and the two keep their bond even as she presents him as a colleague to others, eventually marrying.

As Chandrashekar’s crusade continues, he faces Mahima Roy, a tyrant whose son-in-law Vishwambhar is tied to the violence that took away a father figure, Hari Prasad. Chandrashekar’s resolve is tested as Mahima kidnaps his family and demands that he submit. She even receives calls from relatives around the world, insisting that Chandrashekar has their kin in his custody, revealing the breadth of her network. In the ensuing confrontation, Chandrashekar eliminates Vishwambhar, and Mahima is forced to flee the country.

The web of deceit tightens as Chandrashekar’s own circle is tested; his sly uncle Sivaram betrays him and blindsides him by signaling Vishwambhar’s arrival to pay tribute for Hari Prasad. Yet the Dictator’s plan remains unshaken. In the climactic showdown, Chandrashekar triumphs over Vishwambhar, delivering a decisive blow to Mahima’s schemes. With the danger dispersed and his enemies routed, Mahima is compelled to leave the country, and Chandrashekar Dharma continues to guard and guide his vast legacy.
