Set in Mumbai, the film follows Ashok Deva, a ruthless mafia leader locked in an endless feud with his rival, Pawar. On the birthday of his wife, Gauthami, Deva’s world is upended when she is killed by Pawar’s group. In a quiet, hopeful moment before her death, she urges him to lay down the violence and seek a peaceful life away from the criminal grind. Moved by her plea, Deva makes a life-altering decision and chooses to walk away from the blood-soaked corridors of power.
He leaves behind the violence with his two sisters, Sirisha and Priya, as well as his loyal right-hand man, Shiva, and heads to a small village—Gandhipuram in the East Godavari district—to start anew. The world he leaves behind assumes he is dead, and Pawar continues to maneuver in the shadows, determined to keep pressure on the former king of the streets.
In Gandhipuram, the village is steered by Chakrapani, who has two sons: Anand and Ramakrishna. Ramakrishna is portrayed as a fearsome yet principled figure who protects the vulnerable and adheres to his family’s code. He is drawn into conflict when a woman named Nandu starts pursuing him. Anand, on the other hand, is a devoted medical student who falls for his classmate, Sirisha, and the couple eventually elopes to Mumbai to wed, fearing their parents’ disapproval.
Ramakrishna, along with Priya and Shiva, travels to Mumbai to locate the eloped couple, only to be pulled back into the shadows of the mafia’s threats. Pawar renews his bid to finish Shiva and Priya, but Ramakrishna’s intervention sparks a rescue that shifts the balance of power and loyalties once again. With families uniting in the face of danger, the plan crystallizes: Ramakrishna will marry Priya, and Anand will marry Sirisha, strengthening the ties between the two households in Gandhipuram while keeping Pawar’s men at bay—at least for the moment.
Yet the old rival’s shadow never fully leaves the frame. Pawar resurfaces, and the tension that binds these fates pushes the narrative toward a gripping, high-stakes climax. The clash between old loyalties and a hard-won chance at peace lies at the heart of the story, driving each character toward a fateful confrontation that will determine whether a fragile harmony can endure or crumble under the weight of revenge.
