Devil’s Rope (2014): Cast

This film explores the history of barbed wire, a technology deeply intertwined with the westward expansion of the American frontier. It examines how its introduction was driven by settlers’ ambition to claim and control vast territories, and its connections to political and economic forces. The story also delves into the impact of barbed wire on the traditional relationship between humans and animals, and how it spurred the development of new surveillance methods. Ultimately, it's a tragic account of how the world has been divided by fences and borders.
