The discovery triggers a pivotal reversal: the Kilaaks have shifted their signals, broadcasting from a lunar base beneath the Moon’s surface. A desperate counterattack unfolds as Yamabe’s team destroys the lunar outpost, and in a hard-fought struggle, the control signals return to Earth. With the monsters once again under human guidance, the Kilaaks pivot to their ultimate gambit and summon King Ghidorah [Susumu Utsumi], a fearsome three-headed guardian who dives into battle against a united army of Earth monsters including Godzilla [Haruo Nakajima], Minilla [Masao Fukazawa], Mothra larva, Rodan [Teruo Nigaki], Gorosaurus, Anguirus [Hiroshi Sekita], Kumonga, Baragon, and Varan. The initial onslaught looks overwhelming, as Ghidorah’s terrifying power tests every defender.
