Delta Force 3: The Killing Game 1991

In this high-stakes action thriller, terrorist leader Kahlil Kadal threatens to detonate an atomic bomb in Miami unless Western influence is removed from the Middle East. To prevent catastrophe, the Delta Force, led by Charlie and Greg, teams up with a capable group of Russian Spetsnaz and heads to El-Qutar, Kadal’s hometown in the fictional Sudalia, to hunt him down.

Kadal fires back by dispatching Anwar Hussein to Miami with orders to detonate the bomb live on television. Hussein orchestrates an assault on TV news producer Wendy Jackson, and though he arrives in time to intervene, he quickly uses the moment to ingratiate himself with Wendy. The mission strains under the growing friction between Sergei and the others, and the team loses a Soviet member early on. Still, they press on, tracking Kadal and eventually locating him, but not without a heavy price: Pietre and Sam are killed, and Greg is wounded.

The pursuit uncovers a chilling development—Kadal has already escalated to a suicide bombing plan. Meanwhile, Richard and Irenia interrogate Kadal to identify the bomber and avert disaster. Hussein then leverages Wendy to reach a TV audience on a show about immigration into the U.S., hiding the nuclear device inside Wendy’s wheelchair. As Charlie and Sergei arrive with Kadal just as Hussein moves, Kadal orders Hussein not to detonate while Sergei hurls a knife from the balcony. Hussein shoots Kadal dead.

Charlie catches the blade on the TV stage and drives it through Hussein’s foot, preventing the trigger from releasing. With the device still active but unable to be triggered, Sergei shoots Hussein between the eyes. In the finale, Charlie looks up at Sergei and utters, “nice throw,” to which Sergei replies, “nice catch,” and the two exchange a quiet, renewed respect amid the aftermath of the crisis.
