After earning a reputation as Vietnam’s top operative, Michael Danton is abducted from his home by a ruthless band of mercenaries led by Colonel John Hogan. They drop him into their secret training camp, using him as live ammunition for new recruits. Colonel Hogan, David James Campbell, is a highly-decorated Special Forces officer who runs a brutal mercenary outfit. His latest arrangement with businessman Don Michaelson Troy Donahue sets the stage: Hogan recruits new troops and, in a shockingly cruel training method, orders them to kidnap civilians to use as targets in hunting exercises. In one capture, Mike Danton Ted Prior is ambushed while taking out the trash. He is outfitted in jorts, greased up, and released into a nearby forest as “game.”
