Dear Inspector 1978
Lise’s car bumps Antoine’s bike, recalling a brief Sorbonne romance two decades ago; Antoine now teaches Greek, while Lise, a police inspector, hides her job. Their dinner is cut short by a deputy’s murder. Lise’s probe leads to a fellow deputy and to Christine Vallier, the victim’s young mistress. With deputies dying, Antoine learns Lise’s profession.
