Dark Woods 2003

Real TV plans a four-day reality series set in the woods, where contestants attempt to survive without aid. To build real bonds among the production crew, the boss, Gunnar, decides to join the experiment himself. The team consists of four individuals: Lasse, Per, the Swedish girl Elin, and the new girl Sara. Together they head to a log cabin far from civilization, tucked among shadowy, eerie woods where the weekend challenge will test their endurance.

The setting is stripped of modern comforts: no cigarettes and no cell phones, forcing the group to rely on instinct and one another as the cabin sits remote and quiet, a place where the natural world becomes the sole source of sustenance. The mood is taut with anticipation as they settle in, trying to read one another while navigating the unspoken rules of a survival experiment.

Things take a darker turn when Lasse and Per discover a lifeless body in a lake near the cottage. Gunnar counsels them to keep the discovery to themselves and to press on with the weekend without alerting Sara and Elin. The decision to conceal what they found seeds unease, and the group begins to experience a cascade of incidents that breed suspicion and doubt.
