Daniel and Ana live with their wealthy parents in Mexico City, a family dynamic that frames their ordinary lives just before tragedy strikes. Daniel is dating Mariana, while Ana is engaged to Rafa, who is weighing a job offer in Spain. One day, during routine errands, the siblings are kidnapped at gunpoint. Under the threat of rape and murder, they are forced to strip and have sex on camera. The kidnappers contact their anonymous client to confirm they have the video, intending to pressure more siblings into participating in such coercive productions. Although they are returned home unharmed, the incident leaves lasting scars: the two siblings can no longer speak openly about what happened, and the video itself remains elusive, seemingly impossible to find online.
In the aftermath, Ana grows more resilient. She seeks help from a psychiatrist and begins to rebuild her relationship with Rafa. Daniel, however, remains deeply unsettled. He struggles with conflicted feelings about the coerced encounter with his sister—the fact that he was not wholly repulsed by the sexual moment with someone he has loved for years haunts him, blurring lines between affection and coercion. Ana urges Daniel to join her in therapy, but he declines, choosing isolation over help.
Night after night, the tension between them intensifies. A moment of violent desperation leads Daniel to break into Ana’s room and rape her. In the wake of this act, Ana decides to move out, planning to join Rafa in Spain. Daniel, desperate to keep her near, tries to dissuade her from leaving and even targets Mariana, hoping to derail Ana’s life by harming those close to her.
The day of Ana’s wedding to Rafa arrives, and Daniel purchases a dagger with dark, unsettled intent. He never goes through with harming Rafa, but he does sabotage the celebration in a chilling way: he contaminates Rafa’s drink with his own semen and returns it to his unsuspecting brother-in-law. After the wedding, the newlyweds bid farewell to Ana’s family, and the two siblings part ways with an awkward, strained hug.
The film closes with a stark note: a message warns of a troubling rise in pornography that uses coerced amateurs, and another message reveals that the real siblings who inspired the story never learned what happened to the video they were forced to film.
