What Is Daniel About?
The premise of Daniel without spoilers.
Babylon conquers Jerusalem, taking Daniel and his friends Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego into captivity. Serving the king, they excel, gaining favor and angering rivals. When Darius makes Daniel his chief advisor, jealous officials frame him, and he is cast into a lions’ den. He emerges unharmed, showing that God still rules men’s affairs.
