Yasuda, Shinkichi Yasuda is a chronically bullied salaryman who has spent years watching his work life undershoot expectations while his personal life feels just out of reach. His daily routine is a grind of small defeats, and the woman he secretly adores repeatedly mocks him and even derides her own husband in a way that leaves him feeling more humiliated than hopeful. In a moment of impulsive desperation, he resolves to rob a bank, hoping to seize a chance at a breakthrough that eludes him in ordinary moments.

Trying to improvise a disguise on the fly, he forgets a proper mask and instead moves toward a plan that quickly spirals beyond his control: he attempts to shoplift a respiratory mask from a nearby convenience store as part of his robbery setup. Inside, a pack of young women points him out to the store clerk, Diamond Yukai, a former rock singer who now works as a debt-ridden clerk. This character, Kenji Aizawa, juggles a difficult life shaped by drug addiction and a heavy yakuza debt, a backstory that adds a layer of danger and bleak humor to the scene. The confrontation escalates as Yasuda is confronted by Aizawa, and in the confusion, Yasuda accidentally shoots Aizawa in the shoulder, a misstep that triggers a desperate flee.

The chase then crosses paths with Takeda, Shin’ichi Tsutsumi, a low-ranking yakuza chinpira whose presence intensifies the danger. He seizes Yasuda’s gun and fires, tragically killing a woman in the process, and he relentlessly pursues the pair through the night. As the pursuit unfolds, it is revealed that Takeda had previously contracted an assassin to murder a rival faction’s boss. When the assassin carries out the hit, Takeda falters, pulling back, and the blow ends up killing both the boss he hoped to eliminate and the rival faction’s boss as well. The weight of this botched arrangement drives Takeda into a deeper guilt, yet it also nudges him to join the others as they move toward the rival faction’s lair.

As law enforcement closes in, federal agents arrive on the scene with the intent to arrest the fugitives. In a tense moment among the chaos, one member of the rival faction’s men attempts to open fire, only to discover that his gun is a hollow sham—the weapon proves to be a fake, and the fatal moment dissipates into a broader scramble. With the stakes now dangerously high and loyalties blurred, the group presses onward to the rival Yakuza lair, a convergence that will culminate in a brutal, fatefully crowded end.

What follows is an eruption of violence that defies conventional resolution: the participants become enveloped in an all-out stabbing orgy that consumes everyone involved. The rapid, visceral sequence wipes out the principal players and leaves the fate of each character sealed in a final, uncompromising eruption of chaos. The film closes on a stark note, leaving the aftermath to speak as vividly as the events that led there.
