Martin, a handsome student at Makerere University in Kampala, has built a pattern of entering relationships purely for entertainment, delighting in tugging at others’ emotions and discarding them without a second thought. This cavalier approach earns him a reputation as a heartbreaker within his peer group and across the campus community, where his flings are treated like games and moments of care are scarce. The dynamics of his social life begin to shift the day he crosses paths with Nicole, a woman who challenges his superficial view of love and romance.

For the first time, Martin finds himself genuinely falling in love, experiencing feelings he had previously dismissed or exploited in others. This emotional awakening stands in stark contrast to his prior behavior and invites him to reconsider what it means to care for someone beyond the thrill of the moment. However, Nicole’s life takes a turn when she becomes entangled in legal trouble, leading to imprisonment.
