What Is Daddy About?

Oliver Watson, a successful ad executive, enjoys an eighteen‑year marriage to Sarah and three children—Ben, 17; Melissa, 15; Sam, 9. Their life unravels when Sarah chooses graduate school 200 miles away, regretting forsaking her bohemian, writing dreams. She begins a new relationship, Oliver’s attempts to save the marriage fail, the kids rebel, his mother dies, and he moves to L.A., where he falls for Charlotte Sampson, whose Broadway offer later tests their love.
