Bill Grant, John Ritter, is a successful television producer working on the soap opera A Life Worth Living. A recently divorced man who does not see his sons very often, he navigates the challenges of blending work and family life with warmth and a quiet resilience. Adrian Towers, Polly Draper, is a driven writer for the news, married to Steven Towers, Kevin Kilner. Steven carries the scars of an abusive childhood and has a wary view of having children.
