What Is Contradict About?
The premise of Contradict without spoilers.
Two Swiss filmmakers explore a provocative situation in Accra, Ghana, when two friends collect money to highlight suffering in America. The documentary, Contradict, delves into whether this act is intended as a playful gesture, a political statement, or a glimpse into the future. Seven acclaimed Ghanaian musicians—M3NSA, Wanlov The Kubolor, Adomaa, Worlasi, Akan, Mutombo Da Poet, and Poetra Asantewa—contribute to the film, composing original songs and creating video clips to illuminate the complex questions raised.
