In a razor-edged crime caper that twists and tangles its players at every turn, a pair of con artists, Leo and Lily, live by schemes and share a fragile partnership both in business and in love. Lily dreams of a quieter life, somebody quiet and distant where the city noises fade away, and Leo—seeing a slim chance to walk away with their future secure—promises that within a week they will have enough to disappear for good. The plan is seductive in its simplicity: money earned fast, exits made clean, a life unburdened by the grind of cons. But the moment you surface from the smoke and mirrors, you realize the cracks are already forming.
