Fate brings Buddha face to face with the very same customer again when she returns to his restaurant. The woman is Nina Verma, Nina Verma, a 34-year-old Indian woman with a gentle resolve and a worldliness that clashes with Buddha’s brisk, sometimes abrasive, approach to life. The two are drawn to each other despite glaring differences in age, temperament, and outlook.
