Jass is an orphaned young man living as a tenant in the house of Advocate Dhillon and his son Goldie Dhillon. His greatest aspiration is to move to Canada, but unfortunately, due to failing in his education, he is ineligible for immigration. The only viable option left for Jass is to marry an NRI girl residing in Canada.

His friend Honey, who works as a mediator at a marriage agency, helps him find potential matches. During an NRI marriage event, Jass encounters Meet, an NRI girl who, like him, is an orphan and has spent her entire life in solitude. Jass immediately falls for her, but he learns that Meet dreams of marrying into a big family, which she believes would bring her happiness. To impress her, Jass and Honey devise a plan to convince Meet that he comes from a large family and is deeply in love with her.

As the story unfolds, Meet requests Jass to introduce her to his family along with her uncle. However, Jass confesses that he doesn’t have any family, which complicates matters. Meanwhile, Meet’s uncle begins searching for suitable grooms for his niece. He and Honey had previously met, and they decide to ask him to find a match. Honey then suggests that Meet should marry Jass, which leads to further misunderstandings.

In an attempt to make Meet accept him, Jass tricks her by claiming that Goldie Dhillon is his wife and that Advocate Dhillon is his father. This causes a series of confusions, and after they get married, Jass starts pushing Meet to go to Canada with him. Meet, however, hesitates, believing it would be cruel to abandon her own family.

Jass then plans another scheme to turn Meet against her own family so she would be willing to leave for Canada with him. The plan takes time, but eventually succeeds, leading Jass to flee with Meet. However, their escape is witnessed by Tony, [Goldie Dhillon]‘s uncle, who informs Advocate Dhillon. Believing that Jass is abducting his daughter-in-law, Advocate Dhillon begins to pursue them along with his servant, creating additional chaos.

Later, Tony sees Jass and Meet running away together and mistakenly thinks Advocate Dhillon is also chasing after her because he loves her. The confusion reaches its peak until Honey steps in to clear up the misunderstandings, bringing the chaotic situation back to clarity.

Throughout the story, themes of love, deception, and family bonds intertwine in a humorous and emotional narrative. The film explores how characters navigate these complexities, highlighting the importance of truth and understanding amidst chaos and mistaken identities.
