During 1914, as Italy prepared to enter World War I, a collective of international artists formed a unique commune on the idyllic island of Capri. A young, local shepherdess named Lucia, unfamiliar with reading and writing, becomes captivated by their unconventional lifestyle and artistic pursuits. The arrival of the artists disrupts the traditional rhythms of island life and profoundly impacts Lucia's world.
