Vijay is an IT professional who ends up sharing a train coach with Jeni during a journey. Their conversation flows easily, they swap stories, crack some beers, and eventually find themselves sharing a bed that night. Fast forward two years, they unexpectedly cross paths again in Chennai, recognize each other, and, for reasons the movie doesn’t fully explain, decide to get married.

Meanwhile, a coworker named Varsha quietly harbors feelings for Vijay. It’s clear to those around them, yet she never explicitly voices her interest.

One evening, after work, Vijay drops Varsha at her home. The two share more beers, become boozed, and slip into a physical relationship. Vijay returns home at midnight, sparking Jeni’s anger and her suspicions of an affair with Varsha.

Complications deepen when Jeni lands a job in Vijay’s office. Tensions flare as Varsha asserts that Vijay should be shared between her and Jeni. In a heated moment, Vijay tells Varsha to leave, insisting that he loves only Jeni. Jeni, for a time, chooses to forgive and tries to move forward.

A few years later, the story reveals a tougher reality: Vijay maintains relationships with both women and their children, all while keeping the truth from Jeni. When she finally learns of the double life, the film closes on a comic note as she confronts Vijay with a decisive, humorous beat-down.
