Cachoeira/ De’a (2010): Cast

A group of Indigenous youths take part in a ritual that mixes alcohol with other substances, a practice that drives them toward suicide, which they view as the only way out of a social reality that offers little hope. The film portrays their stark desperation, showing how cultural pressures and marginalization push the young people toward this fatal rite and highlighting the absence of viable alternatives in their community.
