A taxi driver Arik Einstein has cable TV installed. Overwhelmed with the abundance of channels, he, together with his buddy, flips through the screens, each one showing a parody sketch, turning the ride into a moving mosaic of jokes and quick teases on pop culture.
Bravo alla Lancia is a street-scene tribute to Federico Fellini’s films. The sequence plays out like a cinematic postcard, with the text largely in Italian gibberish and a few recognizable international words winkingly peppering the scene, inviting the audience to read between the lines while the streets of the film’s world buzz with color and sound.
