Sanyi, a puppeteer, and Pali, an elevator mechanic, are both struggling with alcoholism. They embark on a desperate search for their friend Tomi, who has disappeared and missed several Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. Trying to maintain their own sobriety proves difficult in a culture where drinking is commonplace. Sanyi’s past addiction led to the loss of his wife and daughter, but he has since turned his life around, while Pali remains vulnerable to relapse. The two friends race against time through Budapest to find and help Tomi.
