Buck Benny Rides Again 1940

Jack Benny resists the entreaties of bandleader Phil Harris to journey to Nevada, where Brenda Tracy, played by Kay Linaker, is waiting for her divorce. As the West-lover into the mix, Jack’s resistance wavers when he encounters Joan Cameron, portrayed by Ellen Drew, one of a trio of singing sisters who performs with flair. Joan, who believes that the only real men hail from the West, initially spurns Jack’s advances, even as her sisters nudge him toward courtship and romance.
