In a decaying, futuristic Detroit, massive brick structures hide a city consumed by crime and corruption. Undercover police officer Damien Collier clashes with the pervasive moral decay, while Lino fights to survive in this fractured world. In 2018, the infamous Brick Mansions neighborhood of Detroit has descended into chaos, transforming into a self-contained hellhole where crime reigns supreme and law enforcement stands powerless. Seeking to combat the escalating violence, city officials construct a massive containment wall, effectively severing this forsaken area from the rest of Detroit. Once a bustling community, Brick Mansions is now abandoned, with schools and hospitals closed and the concept of freedom a distant memory.
For Damien Collier, portrayed by Paul Walker, an undercover cop haunted by his father’s tragic death, each day becomes a fight to revive hope within this desolate space. In parallel, we meet Lino Duppre, played by David Belle, a former convict from the French-Caribbean community, striving to live honestly amidst the turmoil surrounding him.
