In the wake of 9/11, the United States recognizes that narcotics fuel a shocking portion of global terrorism, and this realization leads to the creation of the International Drug Task Force (IDTF). Funded and overseen by Washington, the IDTF deploys top narcotics officers into Asia and Eastern Europe to disrupt drug networks at their source and cut off funding for violent cells. The story follows one such unit as it operates under intense scrutiny, balancing high-stakes undercover work with the personal toll it takes on those who do the chasing.
